We monitor their performance on each and every project for quality assurance. Our vetting process makes sure all of our Installers:
1 Have a C-10 license Electrical Contractor (Solar is an Electrical system)
- Solar is a electrical system and should be installed by electricians, be cautious of the C46 solar license
2 Have an active license in good standing with the California CSLB
- We verify the installer has not shut down a prior license under another name, common practice to dodge liability
3 Have been installing solar at least 5 years
- Avoid the natural learning curve, electrical systems are complicated
4 Meet the CSLB’s bonding and workers compensation insurance requirements
- We check to make sure the installer has consistently carried coverage over the years
5 Carry General Liability Insurance coverage and a Business license
6 No outstanding issues with the Better Business Bureau
In addition, we visit prospective installers works in progress to assess installation standards; Rack mount location, wire runs, conduit bends, Inverter location, panel locating, shade awareness, finishing details, etc....
