Our vetting process makes sure all of our Installers:
1 Have a C-10 Electrical Contractor License (Solar is an Electrical system)
- Solar is a electrical system, we believe Solar should be installed by licensed electricians
2 Have an active license in good standing with the California CSLB
- More importantly, we verify our installers have more than just a license but also a solid history with CSLB
3 Have been installing solar at least 5 years
- We understand there is always a learning curve, electrical systems are more complicated than roofing
4 Meet the CSLB’s bonding and workers comp insurance requirements
- We check to make sure the installer has consistently carried coverage over the years
5 Carry General Liability Insurance coverage and a Business license
6 No outstanding issues with the Better Business Bureau
Most Importantly:
They may pass our first 6 tests but, in addition, we visit prospective installers works in progress to assess the following installation standards;
Rack mount location, wire runs, conduit bends, Inverter location, panel locating, shade awareness,
finishing details, job site condition, job site professionalism
